Many people pass
through our lives,
but true friends are so few.
Out of all the friends
which I've been blessed,
no one compares to you.
You're the only one
who steps in to say
what I need to hear
to get through the day.
If I need a hug,
you're the one to do it.
When trouble comes
you see me through it.
With a caring heart
and a thoughtful deed,
you give my heart
just what it needs.
And there's nothing
that I'd rather do
than spend my time
with a friend like you,
because I know that
I've been blessed
with a friend who is
