The fall winds
are here again;
they whisper through the leaves
to set the world ablaze
with vibrant orange and gold.
There's a slightest hint in the air
of the coming winter's cold
and at the risk of being bold,
I want to know
if you'll share the autumn with me?
I don't mean to set off an alarm,
but wrapped in the bliss
of your company,
the warmth of your arms,
