Flowers On The Sand

As I walked along the beach one day,
I saw some yellow flowers on the sand.
By the footprints near them I could clearly see,
they must have belonged to a lonely man like me.

She must have had golden hair,
and lovely eyes of blue.
He must have loved her so,
but she broke his heart in two.

I may never know the story,
behind his broken heart.
I may never, ever know,
What caused the two to part.

I know there's a sad story,
that's only his to tell.
About the yellow flowers on the sand,
They were lying there, they were
with a story to tell.

The yellow flowers on the sand!
