     The Ark

The rainbow was God's promise that
He'd not flood the earth again.
And He always keeps his promise
to the women and the men.

Imagine all those people who had
never seen the rain to find thay
they were flooding and no safety
to be gained!

God brought ole' Noah to rest
on Mount Ararat, after forty days
and forty nights,
with elephants and cats.

So Noah's descendants we surely are,
brought straight from that ole 'ark.
Do you see devotion and obedience?
No, not a simple spark!

I question what He has in store
the next time we go under,
since, we don't have to worry now
'bout hurricanes and thunder.
Hmm, I wonder!
