  Pause For Menopause
Pause, pause without a cause
There is no pause in menopause.
For that matter there are no men
Who want to grab and dive right in?

Rainy days are here again and I am
Up to my neck and chin
in pity for myself to spin,
for I am getting old.

Bold and old, I have been told!
And I am a vision to behold.
My hair has thinned, my skin is dry
and all I do is sit and cry.

What is this curse that plagues my life
I was a supple, splendid wife!
Now I go to bed alone,
my disposition to atone.

My husband's in the other room,
said I was a prophetess of gloom!
I'm not grouchy by choice,
It just takes lots of effort

Ah, the curse is sadly here
And I must all these miseries bear.
I've head it said, one time, somewhere
That women just don't age well.

My secret now for staying fine
And keeping all that's left in line
will be to make sure all my body parts
DROP...at the same time!
