 Heartache

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal
When freshly we do knowing, feel.
When all the anguish reaches peak
It leaves a void that does not speak.

Do not suppress it. Do let it go!
Open the reservoir and let tears flow
You can clutch it tightly to your chest
But it leaves no room for all the rest.

Just keep in mind that while you weep
Your loved one is walking golden streets.
And others rejoice behind that veil
To see them join the Golden Sails.

The sun still shines and the birds still sing
And soon you, too, will know everything
When Heaven's gates have opened wide
And you find your loved one there inside.
