Marriage

There are no chains that bind me here
To remain with only you.
Birds are free and so are we
To do the things we do.

Man and wife can't always be
a comfy combination.
It isn't easy being pleasant
In every situation.

Attempts to fall in love with
you so many times a week,
often prove great notions fail
When out of turn you speak.

But we are still here together,
against the marriage odds.
Although it begins in poetry
It Is HERE on earth we trod

We know that every union
has no specific rules.
It can start with man and wife as one
But... still leave two big fools.
