     Toil And Trouble

Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble;
tis' the time for Halloween!
Black suited witches with their switches
in the skies can now been seen.

You need not be naughty to be haunted
Go ahead, do not be daunted
though some shadows do come a stalkin'
those little goblins who are walkin'

It is said that in this hour
there is given magic power
to all the critters that come 'round.
So hasten to be frisky!
This can be a trifle risky
And I pray that you are
walking sacred ground!

Just keep mindful and in store
that where there is no
imagination...
there can be no horror!

Poetry written by Janet Spivey, 2009
