 In Awe of God

My shoes are off in the moments
I stand in the presence of God Himself,
gently unfolding the fabric of his
individual human creations.
My tongue freezes at those times,
in reverent silence in the presence of death,
mighty and dreadful as it seems.
But...one breath later we awake eternally!
We are at Heaven's door,
Where death shall be no more!

God bless you in your time of grief!
