     The Empty Chair

This empty chair
in which I used to sit,
brings back memories of you
and me.

Now the chair just sits and waits,
hoping I'll use it again someday.

But the chair remains empty
like my heart,
since you went away.

I guess it will always remain empty,
for without you it has no place!
