     My Little Gift

It all began on a sunny day,
When a little whisper said,
"Mama, I am on my way".

I waited for over weeks
To hold a pink petal,
Soft against my cheeks.

She grew up day by day,
Till she crawled, stood,
And began to play.

And through all these years,
She taught me,
That daughters are simply so dear.

Today she turns thirteen,
And to be a fairy like her
You know what it means.
I planned a few gifts for her,
But wondered what an angel,
As she would deserve.

So, I send her fond blessings
More than God's gifts in His will,
Love, Happiness and Bliss unending,
A perfect life and the Best of Everything!

God bless you my dear daughter!
