     Together In My Dreams

There are several miles between us.
Many mountains, lakes, and streams,
We may be physically separated,
But we are together in my dreams.

I see us riding on a train,
And sometimes on a bus.
Whenever you are in my dreams,
Nothing separates us.

I see us at the movies,
And sometimes walking in the park.
I see us in the morning,
And often, after dark.

In my dreams, I see us kissing,
As we sit down by a tree.
Miles do not separate us then.
We are as close as we can be.

Sure, I cannot physically touch you now.
This, I admit is true.
But as long as there is a dreamland,
I will always be with you.
