Never Too Late

At 65 Colonel Sanders began to fry
At 70, Grandma Moses painted.
Looking at us it's hard to deny
Why spectators never have fainted!
But love in the fall seems the best
love of all since we're burned most
the waste of our lives.
Let's make it a plan to be woman and man
And defy all that youth has denied
Be my love, be my mate we're older, don't wait,
'cause time is the enemy now.
You love me, I love you. Nothing left but to do
the right thing!
Darlin' let's take our vows!!
