Cast Your Cares

When dark gray clouds hover overhead,
And fills up all your skies,
When sadness fills your weary heart,
And tears fall from your eyes,
When your soul is heavy,
And dark thoughts fill your mind,
Simply look up to the skies,
And the solution you will find,
For though those skies be sullen,
And the winds of life blow strong,
Just cast your cares upon the lord,
He'll fill your heart with song,
Yes, when you are so weary,
And despair your heart closely crowds,
Just try to gain comfort in knowing,
The stars still shine above the clouds,
Yes, cast your cares upon the lord,
And your troubles soon will cease,
He will take your troubled life,
And grant you strength and peace.
