My Prayer For You

Tonight before I go to bed,
I will say a prayer for you.
I will ask God to keep you safe,
And protect you all night through.

I will ask Him to give you peace,
And a restful sleep tonight.
I will pray that He stays by your side,
Until the morning brings forth light.

My prayer will be
That your dreams be pleasant.
The best ones you have ever had!
I will pray they put
Many smiles on your face,
And make you feel real glad.
