We Appreciate You!

Brave soldiers like you
Help us to stay free.
We appreciate your dedication.

Oh, how horrible
Our lives would be
If you weren't devoted
To this nation!

You volunteer
To keep us from danger.
You protect us from
Our enemies.

But not only do you protect
This nation.
For you protect those overseas.

We cannot thank you,
Oh, soldier, enough.
We know that your job
Can be awfully rough.

But please keep in mind
That we love you.
And we so often pray
That God will protect you always,
And soon bring you home to stay.
