     A Christmas love

Christmas love of mine,
you were so hard to find.
I want now to be with you as the snowflakes
softly touch the ground.

I want to hear your laughter from your soul, I want
to hold you as the night grows oh so cold.
I want to feel your warm body against mine
as the snowflakes touch the ground.

Against the window panes, I hear the winds outside
and a shiver passes through me.
I need your sweet love to keep me warm as
the cold winds blow
against a worn and fractured heart.

So long I did wait, so long I did long for you,
It seemed to be forever!
Now I want to tell you, I want to show you my gladness.
I want you to experience my thankful heart,
and to revel in my soul with me.

Christmas comes but once a year, my sweet.
But my love for you will be here every day and
every night to light the way for you.
If only you will spend this night with me?
And bring me Christmas ecstasy!
