Get Your Flu Shot

Flu season is finally here.
Have you been vaccinated?
I know taking shots is not your thing.
I realize how much you hate it.

But, sugar pie, I love you so,
And I don't want you sick.
If you've not had a shot by now,
You need to get one quick.

The flu will give you aches and pains.
It'll make you want to cry.
You'll have to stay in bed all day
And hope that you don't die.

So let's go see your doctor
Before you get the flu,
For chances are if you get it,
Then I will get it, too.
