Each year this day is much awaited,
As the day marks- the time when evil was defeated,

The day has arrived and joy fills the air,
It's time for a fun-filled get-together!

Silk sarees, sherwanis and dhotis rustle,
Happiness herself seems to run a bustle!

Crackers and sparklers hum into the space,
The sound is no hassle for at last the demon is ablaze!

Come on! Got to exchange sweets and snacks,
Let's celebrate that peace is back!

Enjoy this day with all your loved ones!
