So I Go

It's time to say goodbye
It's time for me to fly
You knew this day would come
so please don't bow your head to cry-

I do not go alone
nor do I feel any fear
for light holds me close
and I know the angels are near-

I will fly away as the bird
and soar to heights above
there amongst the stars
eternal, abiding love-

You need not see me
to know I will always be there
my heart is yours until the end
forever full of love no matter what life may send-
