A Special Gift

I broke my head the whole of this year,
What gift would be the Best for you my friend...
I wonder...

I looked for one at the mall next door,
Bags, Books and a lot more,

I went up and down the town,
And at each shop had every salesman frown,

But Friend... nothing held my fancy,
Not even a bouquet of daisies and pansies,

For you dear friend...are one
Whose heart is softer than all the flowers,
Someone whose thoughts are more radiant than all colors,

Someone whose intentions are truly genuine,
And a positive temper that's so very sanguine,

You are too rare a Friend anyone can find,
Anyone could take to you and find it hard to unbind...

So Friend...
As You are different from the rest of the lot,
I decided to give you the very Best I've got...

And that my friend...is
A Very Special place in my heart...!
