Time Descends

If in a moment we were given time
born again to life sublime
then what would you say
or what would you do
because time is as the rose
so beautiful, yet few-

Our life descends as falling rain
demure diamonds amidst all the pain
salvation leads to hope
and hope leads to prayer
encased in our refuge
of what sinners share-

Give back unto the day
which danced through the night
believe in the stars
to make all things right-
