Without You

Without you I feel alone
like timeless shores
there is no song
thoughts of you I keep near
lost in starlight
upon a single tear-

How could you know
how much I feel
when in my life
you are all that's real
you are sun and stars
you are night and day
you are every prayer
that has shown me the way-

As I lay my head down
and try to sleep
your ageless face
in my heart I keep
but dreams come not
for all I see
is your sweet arms
where I long to be-

You are my need and all my heart
in this lifetime and in the next
from you I want never to be apart
keep my words and feel my love
for you are my gift from God above-
