Care To Pray

Pray for the million lives,
That are left alone with painful cries,

Pray for the broken homes,
Where dads have left and so have moms,

Pray for the drug addicts,
That they may stop by some instinct,

Pray for those who sin,
For they have shirked their kith and kin,

Pray for those who gossip,
For they've forgotten the worth of worship,

Pray for those who betray,
For they too are like Judas in a way,

Pray for those who envy,
For such a lot are a little too crafty,

Pray for the world's criminal lot,
For it's an evil trait that they've got,

Pray for the terrorists across the world,
For they to the devil have sold their souls,

Pray for the aged and lost
and that the penniless may not die of hunger and frost,

Pray for the homeless and the sick,
That some gentle heart might save them if not houses of bricks,

If you can keep these things in your prayers everyday,
The Lord shall answer your own in a very special way!
