My Footprints

Because I had no one with
me for the hoidays I went
alone to the beach.

You had to be away, that
left me all alone with
lots of time to think.

I thought about you and me.
About how you make me feel
when you are here with me.

I looked back and saw the
footprints I had made.
How lonely since you went away!

When you return again to me,
how complete again I'll be!
So I've made up my mind.

I never want to be alone again!
I want you with me to
the very end!

My lover, my best friend,
with me always my love!
Not one set of prints ever again.
