No Greater Glory...
There was no grander time than this,
no greater glory, no greater bliss
than the day the angels came to earth
to proclaim the Savior's birth.
A radiant star like gold on high,
lit the hearts of passers by,
the night alive with wonder and song
that the shepherds would speak of long;
the noble beasts and the gentle hay
on that distant night in Bethlehem
where Mary and a tiny babe lay.
