and rises from the sod,
it's sending us a gift of hope
from the heart of God.
For it speaks of everlasting life,
an end to death and gloom,
the miracle Jesus gave the world
when he rose from the tomb.
Each lily promises all mankind
everlasting life and love,
and reminds us to be grateful for
our blessings from above.
May you and yours remember
the miracle of the first Easter
and find comfort in God's promise of
everlasting renewal and love.
