Robin Red Breast...

A legend tells how the robin got its red breast and why the robin is a symbol of spring.

In flight to Calvary, a robin noted that a thorn had pierced Christ's forehead, causing it to bleed.

The robin flew down and plucked the thorn out. As it did, Christ's blood stained the robin's chest.

Since then, Robins have been marked with a splendid red breast as a reminder that one of them was kind to the Lord.

The next time you see a robin red breast, remember Jesus' gift of eternal life
to the world.

Wishing you a
joyous and
spiritual Easter
that's full of
hope for tomorrow.
