In Remembrance Poetry

      Many famous poets have written inspirational poetry on the death of an acquaintance. Milton wrote on the death of a college classmate. James Russell Lowell wrote a touching poem on a vicarious kiss given to his deceased daughter. And Alfred Lord Tennyson wrote a long, somewhat philosophical poem entitled “In Memoriam on the death of a friend named Arthur Hallum.
