From Little League
through my college days,
you were there.
And in your own special way,
you always showed me
how much you care.
Something in your voice
makes me want to do better;
something in your eyes
makes me strive to try harder.
It pleases me to know that
no matter where I go in life,
or what I do,
I'll always find comfort
when I think of you.
