I'm watching you.
I close my eyes,
and I can see the gentle
sway of your body
as you dance
beneath the starlight.
I'm hearing your voice
as you call out to me.
I'm taking you into
my arms, and I can feel
all the heat of August
when your flesh meets mine.
Yet, when I look into
your eyes,
something touches me
deeper still,
for I can feel the
comforting warmth
of the spring.
And suddenly, I remember
all of my hopes and dreams
for what tomorrow can be.
And like a butterfly,
I gracefully take flight.
