I met a special person,
so caring and so fine.
A blessing soared through my monitor
the day I met you online.

Now I watch my email
anxiously every day,
hoping to get some news from you,
told in your caring way.

Life can be so trying,
with so many burdens to bear.
And it's great to have a dear friend
like you out there.

Even though you're far away,
your warmth cuts through the miles.
You reach across the distance
and always make me smile.
