I Wait...
I watch the moon
don a suit of red
as it nestles behind
the fiery maples.
And I wait...
I gather the night's
last threads of silver
as it hands the world
to the dawn.
And I wait...
I watch the daylight
rush over the hills
and grow with the tide
before it ebbs into dusk.
And I wait...
I bid another day
farewell as it
polishes the stars
and calls a new moon.
And I wait...
for you!
