God couldn't be everywhere
so he created mothers
to protect souls down here.
And like him
they guide us and lend us
some love
and watch over us
like heaven above.
With understanding
and a gentle smile,
they teach us
that life is worthwhile.
And no matter where we wonder
no matter where we roam,
we'll always treasure
the angel named "Mother"
at home.
