The Pine Trees Tall!

See
Evergreen
Bedecked with cones and
Sunlit boughs

Gold and silver green

Icicle droplets
Splash upon
The babbling brook
And nurture hill and dale!

April turns to May
And
May to June

Early spring ~ Ushers in
Green hills
With
Daffodils
And wildflowers all

Rainbow arcs
From hill to hill
While
Misty veil and dew drops
Cover all

Backpackers ~ Hikers all
Pitch
Your tent
Behind the blind
Then hush ~ be still!

Listen to
The
Whip-poor-will
Bob-white and quail

Listen to
The Meadow Lark and Nightingale
As
Sunset paints
The pale blue sky
With
Silver, pink and gold

Fireflies
and
Lilacs sweet
And
Campfires all aglow
Gypsies
Camp within the glen
And dance into the night

A wolf howls at the moon

Lynn, Founder of the Tottenville High School Schoolmates Directory, was and always will be, much appreciated and beloved by all those at The Trumpet who enjoyed the pleasure and privilage of working with her. Lynn wanted to make a difference and she did.

As Lee has so aptly statted, she was a prime example of "Grace Under Fire" ~ Sacrificing as she did, in the waning days of her life, to complete this project.

I also wish to acknowledge Ellen, Dee, Pat and Werner for their preview and helpful input in the preperation of this dedication.
