Make a New Year Resolution list that will help you the whole year through! Get a piece of paper, and write a list of five things in your life that you're thankful for every day. In a second column, write five qualities, skills, or talents that you appreciate about yourself. And in a third column, write five resolutions, large or small, that you hope to accomplish during the new year. Keep this list nearby, and look at it each morning when you awake and every time you're feeling down. Feel free to add to it. The list will remind you that you're a special person with unique abilities, and it will help you stay focused on your goals. And remember that everything you wrote in the first and second column will lend you strength in the days ahead and help you reach your goals.
